Classical Youth Ballet Performances

Each year the Classical Ballet Academy supports many local performances and recitals.

Classical Ballet Academy appreciates the support of it's donors:

Concert Series 4 X 4 Nature's Dance & Art
Friday, October 2nd & Saturday, October 3rd at 1106 N.W. 10th Street in Bentonville, AR.

Join us for a gathering celebrating the arts. Experience 4 dances by 4 dynamic choreographers Jane Vorburger, Melinda Tobian, Michelle Brekelbaum and Alberto Montesso. Stroll the artwork of local artists in our gallery.
Tickets are just $15 per person and are available online.
Doors open at 6:30 - Performance begins at 7:00.

The Nutcracker 2009
Saturday, December 5th @7:30 p.m & Sunday, December 6th & 3:00 p.m. at the Arend Arts Center (Bentonville High School campus).

Each Christmas season Classical Ballet Academy presents the classic Nutcracker ballet in December. Set to the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky, the ballet tells the story of the Christmas Eve dream of Clara and her "journey" to the Kingdom of the Sweets. Featuring special guest artists Leah Gallas and Alberto Montesso of Tulsa Ballet as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier,Classical Youth Ballet dancers, and community dance students. Online ticket sales for the Nutcracker will begin on October 15, 2008.

2009 Nutcracker Art Contest

WHO: The one hour performances are designed for children ages 4 and up and their teachers to experience an overview of the Nutcracker Ballet story. Participating schools may also wish to submit art work for the Nutcracker Art Contest. Winning artwork will be displayed during all 2009 performances.
WHEN: Friday, December 4th at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. (each show lasts one hour)
WHERE: Arend Arts Center on the Bentonville High School Campus
COST: $3.00 per student/parent ticket (ages 4 and up, each seat requires a ticket, no lap sitting)

Nutcracker GIRL SCOUT Performance Package

WHEN: Saturday, December 5th OR Sunday, December 6th
WHERE: Arend Arts Center on the Bentonville High School Campus
COST: $15 per scout includes one ticket, the pre-show director's talk, a gift, and a patch. (Call for leader and sibling ticket pricing.)

The Secret Garden
Saturday, April 10th @ 1:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. @ Arend Arts Center on the Bentonville High School Campus.

Our spring performance follows the story of Mary Lennox, as created by Francis Burnett Hodges, as she journeys on the path to happiness within her "secret garden". Choreography by Catherine Kyle, Michelle Brekelbaum and Melinda Tobian (new works and solos choreographed for CBA Company dancers).

Tickets will be available for online purchase on March 15th.
